AROUNd THE WORLD
German speaking theatre tends to be inaccessible for people with a different mother tongue. To break down this barrier, we offer surtitles for selected performances not only in English, but also in other languages. For instance, we are working on surtiteles in English for »Les Blancs«, in Ukrainian for »Die Tragödie von Romeo & Julia« (»The Tragedy of Romeo & Juliet«) and in Bosnian and Croatian for »Kafana Beisl Culture Clash«. Moreover, multilingualism will also be practised on stage, e. g. in »Kafana Beisl Culture Clash« (Schauspielhaus) and »Etwas kommt mir bekannt vor« (Konsole).
And this is just the beginning! We are constantly expanding our multilingual offer. Please check our program for up-to-date information.

Online Bookings
Get all relevant information about the Schauspielhaus Graz, our programme and all current productions at our website. There you also have direct access to the ticket office to purchase your desired tickets. Alternatively, you can also buy them directly at www.ticketzentrum.at. Currently, the website is only available in German. If you would like to make your bookings in English, please send an e-mail to tickets@ticketzentrum.at or call +43 (0) 316 8000.
Evening Box Office
The evening box office for our venues Schauspielhaus and Konsole is located in the foyer (entrance Hofgasse), the box office for the Schauraum is located in our canteen on the 1st floor (stage entrance via Hofgasse).
Ticket sales from:
60 min. before the start of the performances in the Schauspielhaus
30 min. before the start of the performances in the Schauraum and in the Konsole.
Access
The Schauspielhaus is barrier-free. A lift in the foyer takes wheelchair users to the ground floor, where two wheelchair places are available. For hearing impaired persons an induction loop is installed in the stalls. Konsole and Schauraum are accessible via elevator.
We would like to ask wheelchair users who want to frequent the Schauraum to contact us ahead of their visit by calling +43 (0) 316 8008 44.
Assistance dogs may be brought to the performance. Please register in advance when purchasing tickets.
Reachability
Free Public Transport With Your Ticket
Your ticket is valid for free transport within the range of »Verkehrsverbund Steiermark«. This option is valid on the day of the event, for your trip to the theatre from 3 hours before and up to 7 hours after the beginning of the performance. If you purchase your tickets at the box office before the performance, free transport is only valid for your return journey up to 7 hours after the beginning. The ticket must be shown on request.
All tramlines in Graz stop at Hauptplatz. From there it is only a five-minute walk to the Schauspielhaus Graz. The bus line No. 30 stops in front of the theatre (stop: Schauspielhaus).
Getting Home Safely (Shared Taxi)
Visitors who live in the same district can take a »Sammeltaxi« (shared taxi) for their journey home after the performance. Please let the service staff at the cloakroom know before the show or during the interval that you would like to take a shared taxi. This service is not available for special events, guest performances or performances on Sunday afternoons.
Low-Priced Parking
If you show your ticket to the staff at the cloakroom before the performance, you will receive a re duced-price exit ticket for the car park »Pfauengarten« at Karmeliterplatz. You will have to enter the car park after 06:00 pm and exit before midnight. Exceptions are performances on Sunday afternoons and performances with an earlier beginning. This option cannot be used in combination with the »Vorteilscard« of the »Pfauengarten« car park.
